an unbranded conversation with myself
An honest conversation with myself and in many ways, with you.
Dear you,
It took me long enough to start this conversation series, but it’s here now and it was born out of a conversation with myself sometime in March.

And that’s how we got here - birthing #UnbrandedConversations.
Every other day, I have fantastic conversations with my friends and the amazing people I meet. They are not the typical digital creators you would think of when you hear the word “creators”. Still, they are creators in their own right—pacesetters, builders, unconventional thinkers, artists, catalysts, and dynamic people. You probably know one part of them, but you might be missing out on the other parts. These are people I would love to make documentaries about. They are people who make me curious or people I can unearth my curiosities with. They give me energy whenever I interact with them or their creations.
I have three drafts written, but I have been struggling to publish them because these conversations have no specific direction, but they give direction to anyone who listens or reads them. They are deep, special, and deserve to be kept in a glass, frozen through time. For months, I stopped myself from publishing because I was afraid I may have missed something within the conversation, and I wanted to capture everything, but if I keep doing that, these letters would never start. I would never publish them because they would never be perfect!
I needed to have a conversation with myself and let go, knowing that the goal is not perfection. These conversations are art and honest. They will hit you in different ways, and you will find your own interpretation, perspective and meaning. So I need to stop hoarding them, and I need to share them with you, starting with this honest conversation with myself.
So here we go. Every month, we’ll have a conversation published every Friday, starting January 2023. As you get these letters, I hope you’ll read them with a drink in your hand and possibly feel transplanted into the room where these conversations were had. You’ll share your thoughts and unearth your own curiosities. I hope, like art, you will find your own perspectives and questions. Maybe these conversations may be mirrors for you to look at yourself and feel seen, heard or understood or magnifiers or binoculars to provide clarity for you as you walk down your own path in life.
Whatever these conversations do for you, don’t enjoy them alone; share them with me and others in this community. I hope that as you share, you find new friends, and we spark even more conversations worth having.
I am looking forward to this ride with you. Feel free to bring one more person along by sharing this letter with them and hopefully, they’ll love it enough to subscribe.
With love,
Blessing Abeng.
