004: unbranded conversations with Funke Bucknor-Obruthe
an intimate and vulnerable conversation with Funke Bucknor-Obruthe about her life, dealing with loss, managing friendships, navigating guilt, dancing, and truly living
Dear You,
I attended an event many years ago, and towards the end, I spotted a woman dancing energetically, and people gravitated towards her. Her energy was so contagious it was difficult to ignore. She danced in a way that made your body move. I remember getting on the dance floor with her; it was so much fun. She was Funke Bucknor-Obruthe [FBO] for short. Fast forward to many years later, we connected, and I got to know her interestingly. We have shared some stories and words of advice personally, but getting you in the room to hear some was absolutely worth it.
As always, every episode with a guest will be split into two parts. But this episode was very intimate, personal, and vulnerable. She shares a lot about her life, dealing with loss, managing friendships, navigating guilt, dancing, and truly living. Grab a drink [water qualifies as a drink], click the video below, and be part of this conversation with Funke Bucknor. When you’re done, don’t forget to watch, share, and, most importantly, start a conversation.
With Love,
Blessing Abeng.

The universe conspired in multiple ways to stop this episode from going out. We lost sound files, and more interestingly, I travelled and was stuck in a place with limited internet access that’s why this episode is 24 hours late, but the good news is it’s finally here! Please watch and share.
This one hit from the jump.👏
Vulnerability is the word.
This conversation had me having inner conversations.
Thanks, Blessing Abeng.
